We are currently looking to recruit a 3rd Shift Quality Monitor to join our team at Essentra Packaging. As a Quality Monitor, you will be responsible for auditing, inspecting, and testing in-process products to ensure compliance with customer specifications. The primary focus will be to adhere to CGMP, ISO 9001, and standard operating procedures set forth by Essentra Packaging. Skills

  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Previous experience with Quality Inspection in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent communicator both orally and in writing; able to read, write, and speak English
  • A team player with the ability to work productively and collaboratively
  • Ability to work well and calmly under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Dependable, flexible, and approachable
  • Knowledge of CGMP and SOP procedures is desirable
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

  • Examine the product to customer requirements/specifications regarding visual appearance and structural functions
  • Conduct random sampling of products based on company and/or customer requirements for evaluation
  • Perform visual comparator analysis checks
  • Input information into batch records to reflect document defects for customer review
  • Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipping
  • Assist with training as needed
  • General ad-hoc duties directed by management

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role

  • High school graduate or equivalent required

  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a quality monitoring role
