The Full Time Admissions Coordinator is essential for managing admissions to Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facilities and plays a vital role in marketing the facility to prospective residents and their representatives. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can navigate the admission processes effectively while ensuring a smooth transition for each new resident.

Compensation and Benefits

Wage: \(23-\)24.50 per hour based on experience. Fulltime benefits include a comprehensive health package and additional perks outlined above.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate admissions to skilled nursing facilities, obtaining necessary authorizations
  • Prepare admission packets and ensure all documentation is completed
  • Notify relevant departments of pending admissions
  • Manage the admission contract process and collect/log valuables as needed
  • Inform residents about their rights concerning medical decisions and privacy
  • Assist with marketing the facility through tours and informational sessions

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in admissions or healthcare settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of skilled nursing and assisted living processes
  • Proven ability to manage documentation and compliance requirements

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare or administration is a plus
