As an Aerial Lineman at HBI, you will perform the essential work of installing and maintaining the telecommunication lines that keep our communities connected. Skills

  • Ability to climb telephone poles and operate bucket trucks
  • Comfort working at heights up to 40 feet
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout the state, primarily Southeastern WI, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

  • Install aerial phone and fiber cables
  • Safe operation of bucket trucks and climbing with gear
  • Perform new builds and maintenance of existing lines
  • Execute lashing and pole transfers

Qualifications

  • Previous industry experience or lineman schooling preferred
  • Insurance-acceptable license; Class A CDL preferred and rewarded with higher compensation

Education Requirements

  • Not specifically listed, but lineman schooling or equivalent experience is preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • High school diploma or equivalent; specific training or certification in lineman work preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred, with a focus on aerial installation and maintenance
