Skills

  • Fluency in American Sign Language.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging ASL lessons tailored to students’ individual skill levels.
  • Create a dynamic curriculum that integrates ASL and Deaf culture.
  • Assess student progress and offer constructive, encouraging feedback.
  • Facilitate connections with the Deaf community through events and activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in ASL, Deaf Studies, Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification in ASL instruction (e.g., ASLTA) is a plus.
