Skills

  • Myofascial and soft tissue expertise
  • Confidence and skill in adjusting across the full spine and extremities
  • Active Release Technique (ART) certification strongly preferred
  • Graston Technique certification strongly preferred
  • Sports chiropractic background or CCSP designation a plus
  • Excellent communication and patient management skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient observations, including physical examinations and assessments of musculoskeletal function.
  • Develop and implement customized care plans focused on pain management, injury recovery, and functional improvement.
  • Utilize techniques such as trigger point therapy, soft tissue mobilization, and manual adjustments to treat sports injuries and soft tissue conditions.
  • Manage acute pain episodes through targeted interventions and patient education on injury prevention strategies.
  • Perform patient assessments using medical terminology knowledge, anatomy expertise, and physiology understanding to inform treatment decisions.
  • Interpret medical imaging results when applicable to enhance diagnosis accuracy.
  • Provide occupational health advice and support for patients with work-related injuries or ergonomic concerns.
  • Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed for optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Maintain patient satisfaction and help bring in new business.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid state chiropractic license
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a chiropractic role preferred
