Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with dealership guidelines and manufacturer requirements
• Partner with dealership management to develop and implement strategies for improving profitability, return on investment, and overall financial performance
• Analyze dealership expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide guidance to dealership employees on expense control
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial records, including sales, purchases, and other financial transactions, in accordance with GAAP
• Oversee all tax reporting and payments to ensure timely and accurate compliance with all applicable regulations
• Develop and maintain effective cash management systems to optimize cash flow and minimize risk

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive dealership accounting is highly desirable
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial regulations, and industry best practices
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving results
