Skills

  • Strong automotive diagnosis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to conduct routine inspections and maintenance
  • Knowledge of brake systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and air conditioning
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior technicians
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies

Responsibilities

  • Perform line technician services and routine inspections/maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair various automotive systems including brakes, electrical, and power-train management systems
  • Road test vehicles post-repair to ensure mechanical soundness
  • Document all work performed on the repair order
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management
  • Promote teamwork and deliver on-time guest care
  • Maintain strict adherence to company policies on vehicle care and operation
  • Engage in manual tasks which may include lifting, standing, and bending

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of automotive diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • ASE Certifications are a plus

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant automotive experience
  • Experience with exhaust systems, advanced fuel ignition, electrical, air conditioning, and computer systems
