Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized therapy sessions using techniques tailored to each child’s treatment plan, under the direction of a BCBA.
  • Follow detailed goals, targets, methods, and schedules created by the BCBA.
  • Accurately collect and maintain data during sessions to track progress.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and team members.
  • Attend and complete all required training to keep skills current.
  • Obtain and maintain the credential within 30 days of orientation.
  • Submit accurate time sheets and session notes on time.
  • Maintain reliable and consistent attendance (maintaining >95%).

Qualifications

  • Compassionate and reliable with a commitment to a challenging yet rewarding role.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Current valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Successful completion of State and Federal background checks and clearances.
  • CPR certification.
  • Ability to obtain the credential within 30 days of orientation.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED is required; a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is preferred.

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Certification related to behavior analysis or child development is preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in behavior analysis, autism, psychology, developmental conditions, or child development is highly valued. Roles such as behavior therapist, teacher assistant, or youth program coordinator are relevant.
