Arizona Youth & Family Services, Inc. (AYFS) is seeking a dedicated Behavior Coach to join our nonprofit organization in Phoenix, AZ. Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from \(25,000 to \)30,000 per year, depending on skills, education, and experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to acknowledge and reward our hardworking staff.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a “first responder” by implementing treatment plans to prevent behavior escalation
  • Work one-on-one with children in their homes, schools, or communities
  • Collaborate with parents or guardians and child and family teams
  • Develop and teach age-appropriate interventions tailored to each client
  • Track progress and reinforce behavioral interventions
  • Complete necessary documentation
  • Participate in weekly supervision and training sessions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, child development, education, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, or families with behavioral difficulties
  • Passion for helping others and a positive attitude
