EAC Network is seeking a Family Communication Specialist (Bilingual preferred) to join the Home Base (Intensive) Program. This part-time position offers up to 19 hours per week. The Family Communication Specialist will play a crucial role in providing individual and family counseling aimed at building and enhancing relationships among youth and families.

Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with various systems, including criminal justice, treatment, and mental health
  • Proficiency in computer applications and automated systems (e.g., spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, calendar, email, and database software)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-home, community, and office-based counseling services
  • Mediate and resolve relationship issues within families
  • Collaborate with Case Managers to develop client service plans
  • Investigate and arrange supportive services through community linkages
  • Maintain comprehensive client records for supervision review
  • Provide crisis intervention as necessary
  • Attend trainings and represent the agency at meetings when required

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
  • LMSW or LMHC preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with families
