EAC Network is seeking a Family Communication Specialist (Bilingual Preferred) to join our Home Base (Intensive) Program. This part-time position offers up to 19 hours of work per week and focuses on providing individual and family counseling aimed at enhancing relationships among youth and their families.

Skills

  • Masters degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling (LMSW or LMHC preferred)
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with families
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Collaborative approach with criminal justice, treatment, and mental health systems
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and database software

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-home, community, and office-based counseling services
  • Mediate and resolve relationship issues within families
  • Collaborate with Case Managers to develop effective service plans
  • Investigate and arrange supportive services with local hospitals and treatment programs
  • Maintain complete client records for supervision review
  • Provide crisis intervention as necessary
  • Attend trainings and represent the agency in meetings as required

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
  • LMSW or LMHC preferred
  • Two years of experience working with families
  • Strong communication skills
