EAC Network is seeking a Forensic Case Manager (Bilingual) for the Manhattan Health Court Evaluation Services program, located in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Forensic Case Manager provides essential services including identification, screening, treatment planning, case management, and court reporting for eligible participants living with mental illness or co-occurring disorders.

Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in relevant fields such as criminal justice, social work, or psychology
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with treatment and criminal justice systems
- Proficiency in computer applications and automated systems (e.g., spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, database software)
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison to the courts and correctional facilities
- Provide case-finding and screening services for participants
- Implement comprehensive screenings and facilitate treatment referrals
- Submit monitoring reports detailing participant compliance with treatment plans
- Maintain accurate case documentation for review by supervision
- Assist clients in applying for public and private benefits
- Monitor and manage caseload through regular case management appointments
- Prepare and present written and oral status reports to the criminal justice system
- Participate in case conferences and engage in relevant training opportunities
- Conduct supervised toxicology as needed
- Assist the Program Director with administrative tasks
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in a related field
- 1+ years of experience working with the criminal justice, substance abuse, or mental health populations
- Must be bilingual and fluent in Spanish
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, social work, counseling, forensic psychology, psychology, sociology, or criminology required
- Master’s degree preferred
