Communication Helpers of South Houston, Inc. has been dedicated to providing quality speech and language therapy since 2012. Owned by an experienced pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist, we serve patients with speech and language disabilities in Southeast Houston, including areas like Clear Lake, South Houston, and Pasadena. Our focus is on individual patient care, ensuring routine supervision and support for our team, which includes SLP Assistants. We are currently seeking a bilingual licensed SLP Assistant to join our team, providing therapy and assessment for bilingual patients.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay range: \(55,000.00 - \)72,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Conduct therapy sessions weekly and review goals with caregivers
  • Provide caregiver education during each visit
  • Complete daily documentation and progress updates as required
  • Maintain professional relationships with families
  • Meet with the supervising SLP twice weekly for guidance and support

Qualifications

  • Current Texas licensure as an SLP Assistant preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current negative TB test
  • Spanish bilingual skills preferred

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in a pediatric setting is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with speech and language therapy practices
