The Billing Assistant will perform essential duties in a business or corporate setting, including preparing and sending invoices to clients and customers, processing third-party invoices, and issuing billing adjustments as necessary. This role also involves checking, printing, and validating invoices, tracking delinquent invoices, and managing customer refunds. Daily closing and balancing of payments and receipts, along with maintaining organized logs of transactions, are key responsibilities. This position works closely with accounts receivable and accounts payable departments.

  • Track, verify, and mail customer refund checks

  • Maintain and manage daily logs of transactions
  • Coordinate with accounts receivable and accounts payable departments

Qualifications

  • Experience in billing and accounts administration preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in finance or accounting is a plus
