Description

We are currently recruiting for a Bindery Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for packing inserts from the folding equipment into trays, bundles, and other configurations per master specifications error free. Your functions also include in-process inspection of the product being produced to ensure overall quality, completing required paperwork, and making entries into the computer system.

Skills

• HS graduate or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required; will train
• Excellent communicator both orally and written, able to read, write, and speak English

• Able to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Load machine with printed material
• Successfully complete Line Purge/Line Clearance training
• Take finished product off the folding machines
• Make trays and cases needed for various jobs
• Pack product into trays and cases error free
• Complete all necessary paperwork
• Fill information on board as required
• Alert mechanic to process problems
• Clear minor jams
• Clean area and machine at the end of the shift
• Other duties as assigned
