Description
The Manufacturing Associate IV position in Chicago, Illinois, involves working in a full-time non-exempt role focused on the manufacturing of biotechnology products intended for clinical and commercial human use. This role requires the use of aseptic techniques in controlled and classified environments, including complete aseptic gowning procedures, adherence to FDA current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and compliance with other government regulations.

Responsibilities
- Perform daily operations related to biotechnology manufacturing
- Weigh and dispense materials accurately
- Operate filtration systems and inoculate mammalian or cytokine cells
- Manage fermentation and harvest processes
- Conduct chromatography column and TFF operations
- Execute in-process testing and maintain accurate documentation
- Maintain clean room manufacturing conditions
- Report nonconformance or issues to the Supervisor
- Assist in technology transfer from Process Development to cGMP Manufacturing
- Comply with all safety, cGMP, and company policies
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field preferred
