Goodyear is IMMEDIATELY HIRING!!! Join our team as a Bus Tire Technician, where vocational on-the-job training is provided, and no previous experience is necessary. In this safety-sensitive role, you will focus on ensuring that city buses are equipped with reliable and DOT-compliant tires. Compensation and Benefits

The starting pay for this position is $19.13/hr, with the potential for variation based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.   • Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting

Responsibilities

  • Work at designated tire shops, collaborating with customer mechanics to ensure reliable and safe tires
  • Document work performed accurately
  • Maintain customer tire inventory using best practices
  • Monitor tire maintenance through periodic inspections using specialized software
  • Perform tire and wheel assembly changes, regrooving, and inflation maintenance
  • Maintain shop safety and cleanliness

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous commercial tire experience is a plus
