Description

The candidate will be expected to be onsite 2-3 days a week, performing analytical analysis that includes business objectives and process review, function design, and testing of assigned special projects. This role involves understanding the business functions and system needs of various sections to develop specifications and business requirements. Establishing and maintaining relationships with state agency stakeholders and project team members such as DAC, DPS, SCP, and DIT is essential to optimize and streamline processes. A comprehensive understanding of the business functions, technology components, and strategic goals of State government is required.

Skills

• Proficiency in ServiceNow platform functionalities and capabilities, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM modules

Responsibilities

• Serve as ServiceNow ITSM and process improvements technical point of contact
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and develop business requirements and process improvement solutions
• Work with subject matter experts to define and implement internal process workflows
• Interface with various departments to design and implement process improvement efforts
• Evaluate and enhance accessibility and usability of Self-Service Portals
• Prepare and facilitate technical training videos for IT staff and customers
• Mentor interns and others on ServiceNow and ITIL best processes
• Assist management with project coordination and act as backup when required

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Willingness to be adaptable and research independently
• Ability to process complex information quickly

Education Requirements

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
