The Calibration Technician is responsible for safely executing monthly planned maintenance and demand tasks according to assigned cGMP procedures. This role requires a combination of electrical theory knowledge, instrumentation expertise, troubleshooting abilities, and software skills. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in client processes and be capable of proficiently maintaining mechanical, digital, and analog instrumentation.

Skills

  • Proficiency in electrical theory and instrumentation
  • Basic troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with standard test equipment
  • Strong software skills including MS Office, Work, and Excel
  • Familiarity with SAP, OneNote, and Adobe is a plus
  • Recommended ISA level 1 or higher

Responsibilities

  • Safely perform maintenance on mechanical, digital, and analog instrumentation
  • Complete safety and cGMP training as required
  • Utilize software tools such as SAP, DMS, and QMS for documentation
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with team members

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in a related field
  • Significant cGMP experience or a technical military service background
  • Experience in calibration and instrumentation is required
  • Knowledge of Delta V, Profibus, and Hart instrumentation is preferred

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • AS or BS in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, or a similar area of study preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; AS or BS preferred in relevant fields

Experience Requirements

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in calibration and instrumentation
  • Significant experience in the biotechnology industry or technical military service preferred
