About Swift Nature Camp:Swift Nature Camp is a co-ed overnight summer camp dedicated to fostering a love for nature, encouraging personal growth, and building lasting friendships. Our campgrounds include lush forests, pristine waterfronts, and a variety of activity areas, making it a truly special place for campers, staff, and now—you! Key Responsibilities: Property Maintenance: Ensure the camp remains in top shape by performing general repairs, mowing, tree trimming, and minor construction. Equipment & Facilities Management: Maintain camp vehicles, tools, and machinery such as lawnmowers, 4-wheelers, boats, and more. Safety & Security: Keep a watchful eye on the property, address potential hazards, and ensure all safety protocols are met. Housekeeping & Setup: Prepare cabins, common areas, and activity spaces before and after the summer season. Coordination & Communication: Serve as the on-site contact for contractors, deliveries, and emergency response. Seasonal Transition: Assist in both winterizing the camp and reopening it for the summer months. Ambassador for Camp: Greet visitors, support camp activities when needed, and uphold our values of respect and encouragement. Ideal Candidate: Experience in property management, maintenance, or a similar field. Comfortable with basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs. Independent worker who enjoys solving challenges and managing priorities. Passionate about nature and comfortable in a remote, rural setting. Strong communication and organizational skills for managing seasonal staff. Physically able to handle hands-on tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
