Description

The West Chester Township Fire Department is actively seeking candidates for the position of Career Firefighter/EMT and/or Paramedic. This recruitment aims to establish an eligibility list for this vital role. Applicants must complete the FireTEAM exam and the Firefighter Mile exam through the National Testing Network to be considered further in the hiring process. To qualify for this hiring round, all testing must be finalized by December 31, 2025. A Public Safety Self-Assessment (PSSA) Part 1 and a Typing Test are also required at the earliest convenience to avoid delays in processing.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary for this position is \(72,852.74. Candidates with full-time firefighter/paramedic service with a public agency may start as high as \)80,940.34, depending on their career history.

Skills
