As a Heavy-Duty Truck Operator, you will safely operate a truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes. This role is vital to ensuring operational efficiency and safety within our fleet. You will be responsible for adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe vehicle while providing excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle
  • Report unsafe situations or service calls to Route Manager or Dispatch
  • Collaborate with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies
  • Notify Route Manager of any incidents or property damage
  • Complete customer tickets for yardage removal
  • Maintain cleanliness of customer locations
  • Follow route assignments and complete documentation at the end of the route

Qualifications

  • Commercial Drivers License B (CDL) required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Acceptable driving record required
