  • Ability to operate a heavy-duty truck safely
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance

  • Capacity to follow route assignments and document completion
  • Ability to perform pre- and post-trip inspections effectively

Responsibilities

  • Operate the vehicle in accordance with OSHA, DOT, and company standards
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting issues on DVIR forms
  • Report unsafe situations or service calls to the Route Manager or Dispatch
  • Collaborate with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle
  • Notify Route Manager of any incidents or property damage
  • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager
  • Ensure containers are positioned correctly and leave customers’ locations clean
  • Complete all necessary documentation at the end of the route

Qualifications

  • No prior work experience required
  • Must possess a valid Commercial Drivers License B (CDL)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Successfully pass pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background checks
  • Acceptable driving record required
