As a Heavy-Duty Truck Operator, you will safely operate a vehicle to perform assigned duties on transfer routes. This role requires adherence to safety standards and regulations while maintaining a clean and safe vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the vehicle in compliance with safety regulations and company expectations
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues
  • Report unsafe situations to Route Manager or Dispatch
  • Collaborate with Route Managers to optimize route efficiency
  • Notify of incidents, accidents, or property damage
  • Maintain cleanliness at customer locations
  • Complete customer tickets for excess yardage removal
  • Position containers properly at customer sites

Qualifications

  • Must have a Commercial Drivers License B (CDL)
  • Acceptable driving record required
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Successful completion of pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check
