As a Heavy-Duty Truck Operator, you will safely operate a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes. This role entails adhering to safety regulations and performing essential inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate vehicle in accordance with all safety and regulatory requirements
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections using the DVIR
  • Report unsafe situations and service calls immediately
  • Attend scheduled training and meetings
  • Collaborate with Route Managers to improve efficiency
  • Complete all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch
  • Notify Route Manager of incidents, accidents, or damages
  • Communicate customer requests or issues effectively
  • Ensure all containers are dumped and locations are clean
  • Position containers correctly on customer property
  • Follow route assignments and complete documentation at check-in

Qualifications

  • Must possess a Commercial Drivers License B (CDL)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Acceptable driving record required
  • Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check
