Skills

  • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to on-the-job training

  • Capability to operate various construction equipment

Responsibilities

  • Transport, load, and unload equipment
  • Locate existing utilities and prepare cable routes
  • Safely secure job sites
  • Operate equipment such as excavators, backhoes, vac trailers, bore rigs, and bucket trucks
  • Complete restoration of job sites post-project completion

Qualifications

  • Must be willing to travel throughout the UP and Northern WI, primarily the UP
  • Class A CDL (or a standard driver’s license for entry-level positions)
  • An insurance-acceptable driving record

Education Requirements

  • No specific degree required, but relevant training is a plus.

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in utility construction preferred, but not mandatory.
