Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
  • Conduct assessments and analyze results, writing comprehensive reports.
  • Develop strength-based, child-centered treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with school, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with teachers to identify and support students with speech and language delays or disorders.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records and submit reports promptly.
  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language therapy and language development.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure
  • At least two years of related experience, preferably with K-12 students
  • Knowledge of current best practices in speech-language pathology
  • A track record of being a collaborative team player
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
