Chemistry Lab TechChemistry Lab Tech needs 3+ years’ production development experience Chemistry Lab Tech requires: • Wet chemistry • Comfort and knowledge of working with chemicals, especially hazardous chemicals. Ability to perform heavy lifting (5 lb. up to 40 lb.). • Lab safety • Ability to travel and work with outside agencies (Somerset Raritan Valley Sewerage Authority). • Degree requirement, BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biological Engineering, Microbiology, Packaging, Materials Science or Polymer Science would be prefer • Open to candidates with high school/community college background as long as this person is dedicated and has a can-do attitude. • Appreciation of good housekeeping and ability to clean glassware thoroughly and repetitively. Chemistry Lab Tech duties: • Work independently and/or cross-functionally to initiate and execute lab works on evaluation of recyclability, repulpability, and biodegradation of various materials. • Responsible for collecting and recording, interpreting and documenting data in a manner consistent with Good Documentation Practices
