Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus
• At least 8 years of progressive finance experience, with 3-5 years in a senior finance role
• Experience leading HR and legal departments in a small to mid-sized organization
• Familiarity with the SaaS business model, particularly in B2B environments
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially advanced Excel skills
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and hands-on experience with financial software

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and executive team to drive company growth and profitability
• Develop and oversee the company’s financial strategy, covering capital structure, financing, and investment decisions
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support business goals
• Ensure the accuracy of financial statements and compliance with GAAP through diligent oversight of accounting operations
• Manage cash flow and optimize the company’s financial position to support ongoing growth
• Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including SaaS-specific metrics, to assess business performance
• Lead financial due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions (M&A) opportunities
• Oversee financial risk management, including internal controls and compliance processes
• Strengthen HR and legal frameworks to attract, retain, and develop top talent across the company

Qualifications

• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
• Experience launching new products, especially in SaaS and B2B sectors
• Proven track record of driving business growth through effective financial strategies
• Comfortable navigating the challenges of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
