Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational curricula that align with Developmentally Appropriate Practices and Vermont Early Learning Standards
• Plan and execute activities that foster children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth
• Maintain open and frequent communication with families through various channels
• Ensure all classroom activities meet state regulations and center policies
• Create and maintain a classroom environment that promotes learning and aligns with state regulations and ITERS/ECERS standards
• Conduct accurate observations and assessments, maintaining timely and organized documentation
• Stay committed to professional development by maintaining a personal growth plan for continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Must meet the Vermont State Regulations for a Teacher Associate
• Infant/Child CPR First Aid Certification
• Mandated Reporter Training
• Successful completion of Background Check and Fingerprinting Clearance
• Completion of Vermont Orientation Training

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Additional qualifications may be preferred as per state regulations

Education Requirements Credential Category

• State certification as per Vermont regulations for a Teacher Associate

Experience Requirements

• Relevant experience in early childhood education or similar field preferred
