Responsibilities

  • Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories
  • Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and spine
  • Perform manual adjustments as necessary
  • Educate patients on the benefits of routine chiropractic care
  • Maintain accurate case histories of patients
  • Obtain and record patients’ medical histories
  • Arrange for diagnostic x-rays when medically necessary
  • Analyze x-rays to locate sources of patient difficulties
  • Build positive doctor-patient relationships

Qualifications

  • 4-year bachelor degree from an accredited college
  • A doctor of chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college
  • Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE
  • A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV
  • Valid DC license in North Carolina
  • Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in North Carolina

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Doctor of Chiropractic degree

Experience Requirements

  • No specific experience requirements mentioned; relevant experience in chiropractic practice is preferred.
