Sera Engineered, LLC is seeking a local and experienced Civil Draftsperson and Designer with a background in land development for contract work. Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2+ years of design experience required)
  • Strong knowledge of civil design principles
  • Ability to analyze and understand markups to transfer to AutoCAD
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and understand markups for AutoCAD projects
  • Set up new projects in AutoCAD with appropriate backgrounds and scales
  • Establish standardized details, diagrams, and notes
  • Provide quality engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and client standards
  • Assist with project management and task management
  • Review work to meet project requirements
  • Collaborate with field and GIS staff to compile existing conditions

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in civil design projects
  • Experience developing engineering plans, specifications, and estimates
  • A valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred but not required
  • EIT certification is a plus

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Experience Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in civil design
  • 2 or more years of experience using AutoCAD
