Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in the transportation engineering marketplace
• EIT registration required; Licensed Professional Engineer preferred
• Strong knowledge of industry safety standards, guidelines, and specification codes
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation
• Knowledgeable in transportation design standards, including AASHTO design guidelines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide infrastructure solutions on regional transportation projects
• Prepare design concept drawings and detailed drawings utilizing relevant design principles
• Manage and review engineered drawings, submittals, and deliverables
• Conduct traffic studies and analysis using HCS, Synchro, and other traffic modeling software
• Facilitate OSEH’s quality control procedures for deliverables
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of field trip reports and meeting minutes
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Relevant experience in transportation engineering
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Organizational and multitasking skills

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Education Requirements Credential Category

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required

Experience Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in transportation engineering
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation is required
