Skills

• Possess and maintain a valid Class A Commercial driver’s license
• Ability to read and comprehend delivery schedules
• Capability to perform basic math
• Understanding of necessary safety procedures and signs
• Ability to maintain a safe driving record
• Physically capable of lifting products (up to 50 lbs frequently and greater than 75 lbs occasionally)

Responsibilities

• Efficiently transport, unload, and distribute product to customer locations
• Maintain a professional interface with customers and build relationships
• Work a flexible schedule, including shifts of up to 12-14 hours a day
• Perform vehicle inspections as required by safety regulations
• Operate and maintain records in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), DOT, and company policies
• Complete other related duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager or Plant Manager

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of Tractor Trailer driving experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent or a combination of experience & technical training
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Clean driving record and history
• Must pass DOT drug test and company-paid DOT physical
• Must pass a company-paid Post Offer Pre-Hire screen test
