The Clinical Advocate will collaborate closely with member advocates and various teams across Scripta, including Account Management, Business Operations, Marketing, Sales, and the Clinical Insights Team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and customer service skills, a pleasant phone demeanor, and the ability to function as a team player. They will work independently with minimal oversight, maintaining professionalism in day-to-day activities. Critical thinking skills are essential for assessing members based on provided data (claims and eligibility) and engaging them in discussions to enhance outcomes related to pharmacy utilization.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation: \(1,600 - \)1,800 USD Monthly (Based on experience).
  • Schedule: Coverage hours are 8:30 AM – 10:00 PM EST.
  • Internet and computer expenses must be covered by the Contractor.
  • Initial engagement for six months with the possibility of indefinite continuation.

  • Bi-lingual: Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and respond to member outreach and engagement via phone, email, or online chat.
  • Provide education and answer questions about Scripta and members’ medication utilization.
  • Evaluate member needs and offer cost-saving alternatives as identified by Scripta software.
  • Identify community resources to help reduce medication costs.
  • Produce high-quality documentation regularly.
  • Provide feedback to ancillary teams and clients based on member engagement and claims analysis.
  • Conduct telephonic outreach for targeted member campaigns.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance in daily activities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Must meet one of the following:
    1. Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) or equivalent secondary level nursing with a current RN license and 2+ years of clinical experience.
    2. B.S. Pharm or PharmD with current US licensure.
    3. LPN with 5+ years of experience in an acute clinical setting.
  • Experience in healthcare/insurance/pharmaceutical industry (Preferred).
  • Case Management and PBM Industry Knowledge (Preferred).

Education Requirements

  • Must meet one of the following educational criteria:
    1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent secondary nursing level with an RN license.
    2. B.S. Pharm or PharmD with US licensure.
    3. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with adequate clinical experience.

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) or equivalent nursing qualification.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years in retail pharmacy for pharmacists.
  • 3 years of experience in a medical/nursing role in the USA (Required).
  • 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry (Required).
