  • Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Review pertinent mental health history documentation for veterans.
  • Conduct one-time, non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pension exams.
  • Capture responses during the exam through electronic documentation.
  • Complete assessments for common conditions such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. or PsyD in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Valid and unrestricted licensure as a psychologist.
  • Active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Education Requirements

  • Doctorate or post-doctorate level degree in Psychology.

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Doctorate in Psychology.

Experience Requirements

  • Bonus points for prior VA or compensation exam experience.
