Skills
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints with GD&T
- Understanding of CNC machine operation, setup, and programming concepts
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Teamwork skills to maintain a safe and friendly working environment
- Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time
Responsibilities
- Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines
- Work from blueprints and process sheets to perform production tasks
- Inspect machining operations against specified tolerances and maintain quality and safety standards
- Identify and repair minor machine malfunctions
- Maintain organization and cleanliness within the work area
- Assist with CNC machine setup using basic G-codes for program prove-out
- Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications using various measuring tools
- Utilize work orders, blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to complete required tasks
- Load and unload parts onto the machine and ensure tools match those on the tool list
- Enter information into Camstar manufacturing platform and submit machine status reports
- Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and programming teams to resolve machining problems
- Set up and run machines utilizing knowledge of swiss turning machines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience
- High school diploma or GED required
