Compensation and Benefits

• Full commission-based role (No draw)
• Competitive compensation for experienced loan officers with active files
• High commission potential:
  • Up to 5 points (500 BPS) for FHA/VA loans
  • Up to 6 points (600 BPS) for Conventional loans
  • Brokered loans pay 125 to 150 BPS (including Angel Oak, UWM, OakTree, ACC, JCap, and Hard Money options)
• Remote, In-Office (Los Angeles or Santa Ana, CA), and Hybrid work options available

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans through outside sales and self-generated leads
• Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, financial planners, borrowers, and builders
• Assist clients in understanding loan options and guide them through the mortgage process
• Review loan agreements to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Maintain high-quality customer service standards and ensure timely loan processing
• Perform business development activities to generate recurring loan opportunities
• Stay informed about loan products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure adherence to risk management, audit, and compliance policies

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of mortgage industry experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with underwriting, processing, and closing procedures
• Strong knowledge of conventional and government loan guidelines
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills

Education Requirements

• Relevant licensing is required (NMLS)
