Job Title: Communications Specialist We are currently seeking a dedicated Communications Specialist to join our team for the ongoing FCDO and Norad funded MOBILIST programme. MOBILIST, short for "Mobilizing Institutional Capital Through Listed Product Structures," aims to harness the potential of listed markets to attract substantial investment flows. With a focus on catalyzing new avenues for financial intermediation, our mission is to accelerate investment flows that address critical financing gaps. We are committed to partnering with the financial services industry to develop innovative listed products that align with regulatory frameworks and investment models, paving the way for institutional capital to make a meaningful impact. As we advance into the implementation phase of the programme, we are seeking a talented individual to support the execution of our communications strategy and related activities. Responsibilities: Engage in comprehensive review of MOBILIST programme documentation to ensure a deep understanding of our objectives and strategies. Manage and oversee programme communications channels, including social media platforms, to effectively disseminate information and engage with stakeholders. Develop and implement dissemination strategies for MOBILIST research portfolio to maximize impact and reach. Take charge of day-to-day website management, including content creation, updates, and maintenance, to ensure a dynamic online presence. Utilize analytics to assess the performance of communication channels and provide recommendations for optimization to achieve programme goals. Craft engaging MOBILIST newsletters to keep stakeholders informed about program developments and achievements. Collaborate with graphic designers to develop visually appealing publications and digital content, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines. Support communications for the MOBILIST Product Platform, including crafting key messages, managing press releases, and coordinating partner and investee communications. Assist in event promotion and logistics to ensure successful outreach and participation. Adhere consistently to FCDO regulations and our policies, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, social sciences, international development, or a related field. Minimum of five years’ experience in communications and knowledge management, preferably with experience in donor-funded projects. Familiarity with FCDO regulations and experience in the financial sector, particularly asset management, private equity, or impact investment, is highly desirable. Basic understanding of development finance and relevant terminology is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, WordPress, and digital communication tools is essential. Strong leadership skills, adaptability, and integrity are required. Fluency in English is mandatory.
