Responsibilities
- Assist in fundraising and event organizing
- Cultivate relations between the school and the organization
- Raise awareness of the organization at your college/university through promotional materials
- Attend events and meetings as directed by the director and report on proceedings
- Spread the word within personal networks
- Answer phone calls and register clients
- Draft letters and memos, including grant writing
- Translate communications and documents if bilingual
- Support office management and keep accurate records
- Help children with homework
- Assist in job placement for clients
- Provide support in counseling for anger management
- Educate individuals on cultural tolerance
- Perform other tasks assigned by the director
Qualifications
- Passion for community service and nonprofit work
- Experience in event planning and fundraising is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse populations
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pursuit of higher education in a related field is preferred

- High school diploma
- College coursework relevant to social services or nonprofit management is beneficial
Experience Requirements
- Prior experience in volunteer roles or community service is favorable
- Experience in office management or educational support is advantageous
