Responsibilities

  • Assist in fundraising and event organizing
  • Attend events and meetings as per director’s instruction and report the proceedings
  • Help in office management and record keeping
  • Update and manage all social media accounts and website
  • Draft emails and memos
  • Translate documents and oral communications (if bilingual)
  • Attend court sessions
  • Volunteer time at food pantries
  • Research grants to apply for
  • Be active in relations between volunteers’ schools and the organization
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the director

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program
  • Passion for community service and social justice
  • Previous volunteer or internship experience in a non-profit setting is preferred but not required

Education Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a college or university

  • Undergraduate student

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in community service, event planning, or social media management is a plus but not mandatory.
