Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Community Manager to join an exciting high-tech SaaS company. This is an incredible opportunity to work remotely within the United States, with a preference for individuals in the CT and PT time zones. The initial duration of the role is 12 months, with potential for extension and conversion based on budget and performance. Compensation for this position ranges from $45 to $52 per hour. As a Community Manager, you will play a vital role in engaging with our client's community on their online community platform and Slack. Your main responsibilities will include fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere by encouraging constructive discussions, resolving conflicts, and creating internal content that incorporates data-driven analysis and recommendations. Additionally, you'll be responsible for analyzing social media metrics to provide valuable insights and recommendations for improving community engagement and content strategies. Your expertise in developing and enforcing community guidelines will be essential, as well as your contribution to managing the gamification program by troubleshooting issues and developing new engagement initiatives. Identifying trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement will allow you to recommend effective strategies to optimize community engagement. To qualify for this role, we require a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience in community management, social media management, or a related role is crucial. As a clear, enthusiastic, and effective written communicator, you possess the ability to engage with the community in a compelling manner. Your independent, proactive, and creative mindset enables you to think outside the box, while your exceptional organizational and multitasking skills allow you to prioritize and juggle tasks effectively. Being quick to learn new software is also highly valued, and any previous experience in online community management would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with tools such as Lithium/Khoros, Trello, Confluence, Jira, Slack, Bunchball/Nitro, and Excel is a plus, though not a requirement.
