Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Encourage residents to maximize their independence in care
- Serve meals and assist in meal preparation
- Promote proper nutrition and hydration
- Initiate and participate in leisure activities for residents
- Maintain accurate daily records in line with company policies
- Assist residents with medication in accordance with procedures
- Ensure a clean and safe environment
- Respond promptly to emergency situations
- Maintain awareness of resident locations and sign-out procedures
- Foster teamwork through positive interactions with colleagues

Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR/First Aid certification within 6-12 months of hire
- Any state-mandated certification

Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ year(s) experience supporting individuals with disabilities or challenging behaviors
- Valid in-state driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 points in the last 3 years)
- Must be over 21 years old
