Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Encourage residents to maximize their independence in care
• Serve meals and assist in meal preparation
• Promote proper nutrition and hydration
• Initiate and participate in leisure activities for residents
• Maintain accurate daily records in line with company policies
• Assist residents with medication in accordance with procedures
• Ensure a clean and safe environment
• Respond promptly to emergency situations
• Maintain awareness of resident locations and sign-out procedures
• Foster teamwork through positive interactions with colleagues

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR/First Aid certification within 6-12 months of hire
• Any state-mandated certification

• Minimum of 1+ year(s) experience supporting individuals with disabilities or challenging behaviors
• Valid in-state driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 points in the last 3 years)
• Must be over 21 years old
