Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary advisor for facility construction and management, acting as the Owner’s Representative.
• Oversee all aspects of contract execution, ensuring compliance with project requirements, budget constraints, and schedule milestones.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication between contractors, designers, and project owners.
• Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor schedules to ensure timely project completion.
• Ensure construction activities adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and Owner expectations.
• Support and guide construction teams, subcontractors, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and safety-first work environment.
• Ensure all safety regulations and best practices are followed.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience as a Construction Manager-As-Agent (CMa) in commercial or public construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract administration, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, meeting project deadlines and budgets.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience as a CMa).

Education Requirements Credential Category

• CSI Construction Document Technologist (CDT) Technician certification.

Experience Requirements

• Experience managing complex construction projects as a CMa.
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore experience is a plus).
