Description

The Construction Project Manager will oversee all aspects of assigned remodel, relocation, and construction projects. This includes scheduling and coordinating with various external trades, architects, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely completion of services and materials. The role also involves obtaining competitive bids, reviewing contracts, monitoring schedules and costs, and managing both remodels and new construction projects. You will be responsible for rejecting unacceptable work and ensuring the quality of completed tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting pay range for this position is between \(78,200.00 and \)104,100.00. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in an incentive program based on organizational, team, and personal performance.

Skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, equipment, and building specifications
• Familiarity with critical path project scheduling methodology and related software
• General knowledge of budgeting and accounting principles
• Comprehensive communication skills, both written and oral
• Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Project
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Department of Motor Vehicles record

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing plans and specifications for various projects
• Organize, plan, schedule, and lead team meetings
• Review and monitor compliance with contracts involving architects, consultants, and contractors
• Develop and update project schedules, coordinating materials and labor
• Work with government agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals
• Remain on call to provide direction in emergency situations
• Estimate costs for remodels, relocations, and new construction projects
• Maintain warranties and guarantees, coordinating repairs as needed
• Review lease/purchase agreements in support of real estate and tenant space
• Act as a representative of the organization, making decisions that impact cost savings and work schedules

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Construction Management or equivalent work experience
• 2-3 years of architecture, construction, or related experience preferred
• Strong ability to read blueprints and specifications
• Familiarity with critical path project scheduling software
• General knowledge of budgeting and accounting principles
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred
