Description
The Legal Counsel role focuses on corporate transactions with a strong emphasis on renewable energy expertise. Candidates will handle various legal aspects, including corporate law, mergers and acquisitions (joint ventures and partnerships), project finance, and procurement contracts. The position also involves work on offtake agreements, interconnection and transmission agreements, real property agreements, permitting matters, and contracts related to organized energy markets (i.e., ISOs/RTOs). The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of governmental approvals related to renewable energy projects.
