CPE Network Engineer needs 5+ years’ experience CPE Network Engineer requires: • 100% onsite • Strong in DOCSIS, Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) and troubleshooting / debugging CPE • Telecom manufacturing background • Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure is required.\ • Experience working with DOCSIS, ONU, CMTS, DAC, EC, Troubleshooting, Debugging and CPE (Customer Premise Equipment)\ • Advanced knowledge of the DOCSIS and EPON standard • Casa C100G • Arris E6000 • Cisco cBR8 • RPHY • Harmonic vCMTS and RPDs • Vecima RPDs • ADTRAN 95XX and SDX-6210 • Vecima (Nokia) 7360 and Distributed Access Architecture SF-4x, SC-2D3 • Cisco NCS/ASR • Juniper PTX/QFX/ACX Working knowledge of routing protocols including: • OSPF • ISIS • BGP • v4/v6 Multicast • Ability to write technical documentation • Ability to write and follow detailed technical test plans • CPE and ONU background in trouble shooting is highly desirable • Creative Network Trouble Shooting Skills. CPE Network Engineer duties: • Troubleshoots and resolves escalated Access and CPE device field issues. • Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps. • Establishes security, connectivity and access parameters.
