The CT Technologist provides computerized assisted tomographic services to patients as ordered by physicians, following established standards and practices under the direction of a Radiologist. Detailed Benefits and Perks

Responsibilities

• Collect accurate patient data and implement the Plan of Care
• Recognize and report signs and symptoms of abuse or neglect

• Educate patients and families on care needs and processes
• Follow guidelines for the storage and administration of contrast media

Qualifications

• 2-year Associate-level degree in Radiologic Technology
• Valid ARRT (CT) certification
• Clear/active Florida licensure (CRT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• One year of post-graduate experience, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds and carry 25 pounds
