The CT Technologist provides computerized assisted tomographic services to patients as ordered by physicians, following established standards and practices under the direction of a Radiologist. This role requires a commitment to patient care, accountability, and effective communication with the healthcare team. The technologist will prioritize patient care activities and ensure the delivery of safe and appropriate care.

Detailed Benefits and Perks

  • Sign-on bonus of $5,000
  • Relocation assistance offered on a case-by-case basis (\(500 - \)2,500 depending on mileage)

Responsibilities

  • Collect accurate patient data and implement the Plan of Care
  • Recognize and report signs and symptoms of abuse or neglect
  • Evaluate patient responses to care and make necessary adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with patient safety initiatives and policies
  • Educate patients and families on care needs and processes
  • Follow guidelines for the storage and administration of contrast media

Qualifications

  • 2-year Associate-level degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Valid ARRT (CT) certification
  • Clear/active Florida licensure (CRT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • One year of post-graduate experience, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
  • Must be able to lift 100 pounds and carry 25 pounds
