Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for interpreting and executing the physician’s scanning instructions. You will prepare and operate the CT scanning equipment while ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety. This role includes administering contrast materials or IVs as needed, evaluating CT scans for accuracy and technical quality, and maintaining patient records as well as the scanning equipment.

Qualifications

• Certification from ARRT (CT)
• BLS certification required
• Valid state license as required

Education Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Radiology or CT program

Education Requirements Credential Category

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience in a CT technologist role preferred, but not required
