The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the surgical patient. This position is responsible and accountable for planning, directing, and providing nursing care to patients ranging from adult to geriatrics, in accordance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures, established standards, and administrative policies.

Detailed Benefits and Perks

  • Sign-on bonus of $20,000
  • Relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis
  • 8-hour shifts from 7 AM to 3 PM
  • On-call every 4th weekend and 1-2 shifts per week; totaling 8-10 shifts per month

Compensation and Benefits

  • Minimum salary of \(31, mid-point of \)39, and maximum of $47 based on experience

Qualifications

  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or recognized compact licensure
  • Certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS or ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of Operating Room experience required
  • Associate (2 years) Degree (ASN) required; Bachelor (4 years) Degree (BSN) preferred
  • Recent acute care experience is mandatory
